We take care of office and home. Yes we are Superwomen!

A Superwoman is indeed an extremely apt alias name for the members of the fairer sex. Women are made out to be weak and very often thought to be incapable of being at par with men in various strata of life and society. However, the true picture is so very different from the perceived notions. Women do not deserve the label of “weaker sex” that they are unfairly tagged with. In fact, it is mostly observed that women are stronger than men emotionally. Time and again women have shown their intensity and capability in normal and adverse situations alike and have been feted for it. And yet, time and again these strengths have been overpowered and forced to be kept in hiding by the dominant male members of the society.
However, women have gradually shown and learned to exert their superior qualities and demand the respect that they rightfully deserve. They recognize the rich inheritance passed down from the amazing passion and greatness of glorious feminine leaders down the ages; and they know how to respect it and keep the wheel in motion and continue to make a mark for themselves, leave a positive example for their next generations. Stalwarts such as Razia Sultana, Rani Laxmibai, Sarojini Naidu, Indira Gandhi, to name just a few –have redefined the meaning of women’s liberty.
Women in the modern world have forced the presiding powers all over to sit up and seriously take constructive action related to the issue of women empowerment. Women are now taking their financial independence into their own hands. The feminine forces have made inroads into the corporate world and are establishing their mark with their skills and spreading the positive influence of woman power. They are being awarded high managerial posts and in some cases senior-most positions in Indian as well as global organizations. Indra Nooyi, CEO of PepsiCo, Chanda Kochhar, CEO of ICICI Bank and Vinita Bali, MD of Britannia Industries Limited, are some of the women executives who have made it to the top.
Women perform a multitude to tasks at home as well as the office. Be it taking care of children or meeting the expectations of her husband, relatives and friends, a woman ensures that a fine balance is maintained between her home life and corporate life. Many working women cannot afford to employ help at home and they have to be responsible for household tasks as well during her off-time. And those who can afford help have to monitor them to ensure everything is done properly.
A woman’s work is never done and the working woman of today can harmoniously merge their work life and home life and are equally competent in handling both. In critical situations, even if they are overworked, women are expected to and are completely capable of donning the persona of the rescuer and can adeptly dispose of any problems. The Superwoman vanquishes all problems and takes care of the home and office with great precision.
