She wows the crowds and critics alike, every time she steps on to the red carpet, and almost all kinds of dresses look good on her. Some have criticized Jolie for her skeletal frame, but the actor insists that this is the way her body is designed to stay fit. And the fact that being so thin does not affect her health is obvious. She is agile, she is active, and she handles six young children, along with a very busy acting schedule. However, the great body, and the perfectly toned physique does not come easily. They are known to follow a particular form of Yoga known as Siddha Yoga. Apart from Yoga, however, Jolie also has other forms of work-out which help her get in shape for the tough action movies. Kick-boxing is another favorite form of exercise. She practices on punching bags on a regular basis, and this form of exercise burns calories very fast, while making one stronger and leaner. She also supplements this with the more traditional forms of exercise such as traditional martial arts. These forms of exercise too, sharpen the mind, and increase stamina and strength. They are very good for toning the muscles while burning calories at the same time. Jolie has an incredibly toned body, and even at the age of 37, she can carry off action movies which require heavy physical exertion. For some of the action movies, she also trained with weapons, which requires heavy physical exertion as well. All of this, combined with a good diet, is what makes the mother of six look as fit as a fiddle at all times. While Jolie maintains her figure perfectly, she is also aware of the importance of loving one’s body. She says that women should make a conscious effort to feel good in their own skins. According to her, all kinds of body shapes and sizes are beautiful, and women need to recognize that within themselves instead of blindly running around, trying to ape celebrity figures.
