‘One colour wonder’- Spring trends in fashion
Fashionistas are always experimenting with looks, colours, cuts and style. Today’s in thing, may be completely out-of-style tomorrow. The new trend this spring/summer is a ‘one coloured look’. Personally, we like the trend, since it plays with bold hues that are generally unseen.
But one needs to be brave enough to carry this look off with ease. Bright colours work best when kept simple.
For example, have a look at Topshop Unique’s yellow dress. If you don’t mind mixing your look for a daily wear, combine your regular pair of jeans with a fushia coloured or bright orange top.
The fash pack are calling this trend ‘through colour’. Incase you are under the impression that all black or blue is something that you sport regularly, then you haven't got the trend right, it's just bright hues.
International designers have presented an array of Crayola colours from sunshine yellow, tomato red, to cobalt blue, fuchsia, emerald green and tangerine.
Here is how you can get the look right:
You can draw inspiration from Topshop Unique and Jonathon Saunders to get the full volume look right in a matching pant suit. To jazz it up a bit, go for a long sleeve maxi dress. Or perhaps, you can go for a Stella McCartney-inspired sweatshirt and pants combo that will help relax you.
However, if you got bowled over by Anushka Sharma’s look in Victoria Beckham maxi at the 58th Filmfare award function, then try that. Flaunt a little skin, make a statement!
