Monochromatic and geometric patterns steal the limelight
With the weather becoming warmer, there is no better time to start revamping your wardrobe with some new outfits vibrantly coloured with geometric and monochromatic patterns that are sure to impress.
The collections this season combine subtle hues of beige and white with striking pops of vibrant orange and red.Incorporating geometric designs into several of the ensembles serves to make these pieces of clothing modern and visually appealing.
The surge of geometric prints brings out the best of the past, pair a mod shift dress with a funky pattern with black tights, edgy boots and a faux leather boyfriend jacket.
Sometimes the best look of the season also seems to be sporting a monochromatic pattern from head to toe. Starting from jewel toned clothes to brightly coloured dresses, shimmering fabrics that are the same hue, the intensity of colour makes this bright look work for anyone.
Geometric prints are running wild all over the runway. Brightly coloured retro checks in boxy jackets or flowy tops will look great against sharp black trousers or relaxed denims. Great structural shapes and eye-catching colours colours keep this look right in style. This should be paired up with a trendy top with classic pants to bring out the look, or it can be mix and matched boxy jackets with long pencil skirts.
Black and white stripes are another big trend of this season. Wide stripe,s skinny stripes, even swirly –twirly striped tops and tunics against crisp black or white trousers would give a classy, corporate look which can be worn to office .
Not every trend is for everyone but do try and work it into your wardrobe. If black and white isn’t your groove then go for light pastels in geometric patterns and keep your look, crisp, clean and vibrant this summer.
