Dress up according to the party!

Dress up according to the party!

Work hard, party harder! That’s the mantra of the current generation who believe in living life to the hilt! Women are a step ahead in fact; they do not only make the most of every party they host or attend, but also make sure that they look no less than a diva! However, one also needs to spare a thought to the type of party she is attending, and choose her dress accordingly. Every party is not the same, and hence demands a unique attire for every occasion!
You have to keep many factors in mind : what sort of a party it is, what type of people are going to attend it, what time of the year it is, who your hosts are, and so on. Dressing up for a dinner party is different than a cocktail party, which in turn, is different for a family party, which again, is different from a reunion party. According to conventional party dress codes, the dressiest, most formal type of event is referred to as a white tie party. In this, long, formal evening gowns are the most expected dress, with elegant hairdo and makeup. Beads, fur stoles and pumps will perfectly complement your look. A black tie party is a little more relaxed, though still formal type of party. Long gowns in sating or velvet would be the ideal choice, creating a blend of classiness with glitz and glitter; shorter knee-length dresses with ultra-glamorous shoes can also be worn depending on your closeness to the host and familiarity with the other guests.
For a “creative black tie event”, event, however you can introduce a trendy twist to your look. For this type of party, you can take a break from modest gowns and flaunt your satin ball-gown skirts, or halter dresses, or even red-carpet inspired dresses by a good designer. The hairstyle, makeup and accessories should be in complete sync with the rest of your look. A cocktail party, again, is an entirely different affair altogether, for which you should completely let your hair down! Try out a more festive and fun look, with lacy or embellished knee-length dresses; this is the type of party where you can experiment widely with your dresses and even take a few risks! Strapless, off-shoulders, slit dresses, tube dresses and so on, you can afford to be a little bold and daring. The rest of the look should also be as full of oomph and style!
On the contrary, for a business dinner or an office party, a sheath or a wrap dress in a dark shade is he safest bet, next to, of course, strict office wear. Thus, depending on how formal or casual the event is, you have to select your dress. For the modern day woman, it is not enough to just look good, you should look good in the right manner; to dress well and appropriately is the challenge. The beauty with brains that you are, let not anything strike as “unsuitable” or “awkward” about you whenever you attend a party. Rather, impress one and all with not only your appearance but your dressing sense, per se.
