Beautiful jewellery that is ethical and recycled
Sometimes I come across brands that make me go 'WOW!' and this is one of them, handmade, ethical and organically inspired, made using recycled brass and silver with touches of fresh-water pearls, semi-precious stones, Swarovski crystals and fair-trade gold, they are crafted deep in the heart of the Welsh countryside.
Taking inspiration from the Natural beauty around them, days out with family and friends, as well as from stars of the stage and screen such as Bette Davis, Shirley Temple and Greta Garbo, this is a brand that offers unique pieces, that allow you to show off your quirky side while knowing that you are respecting the world around you by buying as ethical as possible.
The brand I am talking about is La Jewellery, a range designed by the lovely Lisa Anne who takes her views of ethical business practices seriously and treats her staff as well as her customers with love and care.
And to show you the best of the brand I thought I would share with you some of my favourite pieces from their range.
1.Silver Lillie Earrings
I love these delicate flower earrings (you can get other matching items), based on the original silver lilies that adorned the lovely Lisa Anne wedding cake what better way to remember that special day than by making part of it into everlasting jewellery.
2.Silver Anchor Bracelet
Did you know in heraldry ( the art of creating and blazoning arms), the stylised cross in the shape of an anchor can be used to signify fresh start or hope? And I think we all sometimes need to look at things with fresh and eyes and hope, so why not wear one around your wrist to make sure you remember.
3.Shirley Temple Brass Prima Neck Collar
Who doesn’t like a nice stylish collar, a rather must have accessory – and this gorgeous one is bound to set off any outfit or take a simple white shirt from day to night.
4.Silver Mela Bracelet
Capturing the light beautifully are the 10 silver balls around this bracelet. Made to make sure they sparkle I can only think the looks they might draw from those around you as you dazzle in the light.
5.Brass Sycamore and Ivy Necklace
A true necklace of nature this beautiful mix of a sycamore seed and ivy leaf are the perfect autumn piece to adorn any neck, though I have to admit mines been out quite a bit this spring as well.
6.Brass Wave Ring
Inspired by the sea this gorgeous ring is one that just makes me thinking of diving straight in as a child and bobbing about on the waves.
There you have one of my favourite brands, everything from there ethics to their jewellery is spot on in my eyes, and really can you ever beat a caring, loving company?
I would love to know what you think of the brand and of course if you could grab a piece what you would love own.
